We all hate wires.
They’re cumbersome and can be confusing as well. So, it’s
not surprising that reporters want to go wireless when they connect their
computers to their steno machines or when they hook up to their clients’
computers. This can be a challenging and very expensive process involving
multiple types of wireless devices, specialized and expensive viewing software,
as well as one which can require a level of technical expertise most reporters don’t
possess.
No longer! Now any reporter
using Windows-based CAT software can use the StenoCast realtime
devices to communicate wirelessly with their steno machine or to
connect to clients’ computers. Not only that, they can use
Bridge, an easy-to-use, realtime-viewing program from Advantage Software.
For those of you who haven’t heard, Advantage Software has made
Bridge
available to all reporters for free. You can download it from their
website and you can install it on as many clients’ computers as you
please. There are no tokens to buy or fees to pay. It’s simple to
install and use, and can even be run from a flash drive.
Do you write realtime now?
Do you connect with your writer only or do you connect both your writer
and your clients? If so, or if you’re simply interested in finding out more
about it, this is a webinar you should plan to attend. You’ll learn a lot and
you can earn CEU points, too. Keith Vincent is going to walk you through
everything you’ll need to know to use the StenoCast devices and to use
Bridge. This webinar will provide you with lots and lots of useful information,
information that will help you improve your realtime services for your clients and which
can help you earn more as a realtime provider.

ATTEND
THEM LIVE OR VIEW THEM LATER —OR DO BOTH!
Are you worried you’ll
sign up for one of our webinars and then something will come up at the last
minute that will prevent you from attending? Don’t be! We know life
is full of last-minute surprises that can knock your plans completely off
track. We also know you don’t need one more thing to worry about,
so our webinars are available at your convenience.
How does it work? Simple. Sign up for a
webinar and we’ll send you an invitation for the live event containing your
log-in instructions. If you can’t attend for any reason, it’s not a problem.
After the live webinar is over, our presenters produce an edited recording of
their presentation and we make that available to our registrants no more than
10 days later. You can view the recording at your leisure, at any hour of the
day, for a full 45 days after the live event.
Can you watch both? Yes. In fact, you can watch
one, the other, or both. If your schedule allows you to attend the live webinar,
by all means do so. Later, as you have the time, open up the recorded version.
You can pause, rewind, or fast forward it, just like any recorded broadcast. The
recording will remain open as long as you don’t close the internet browser window
you’re using to view it, so you can watch it a little at a time, or view certain
portions over and over again.
Whether you watch it live or later—or both—you
can earn CEU credits. How nice is that? |
